Our promise
Workmanship warranty
A 100% workmanship guarantee, plus a materials warranty set by the product on your walls — up to 14 years.
The workmanship guarantee
If paint we applied peels, blisters, or chips because of how it was applied, we come back and put it right at no charge to you. That's the whole promise, and it isn't prorated or partial — the labour is ours to stand behind.
The length of that coverage is set by the product you choose. Better paint holds a finish longer, so the warranty period follows the product's own rating rather than a single number applied to every job.

Your estimate names the exact product for each surface, so you know the term before any work starts. Where a job uses more than one product, each surface carries the term for the product on it.
Other work
- Commercial projects — up to 1 year.
- Garage floor coatings — 5 years (West Coat polyaspartic).
- Carpentry removed and reinstalled during painting — 6 months.
What's covered
Peeling, blistering, and chipping caused by defective workmanship, on vertical, non-metal surfaces we prepared and painted.
What isn't
- Hail, wind, and severe weather — and acts of God generally.
- Impact, abrasion, and other man-made damage after we finish.
- Settling cracks as a house moves — normal in a Front Range home, and not a paint failure.
- Horizontal and moisture-collecting surfaces: decks, railings, sills, and steps take standing water and weather differently to a wall.
- Paint not supplied by Wild Fox Painting.
- Substrate failure — rot, rust, or moisture coming through from behind the film.
Colorado sun and freeze-thaw are hard on a finish. Most Front Range exteriors want a repaint somewhere in the 7–10 year range regardless of who painted them, which is worth planning for even where your coverage runs longer.

The written agreement governs
This page summarises the warranty in plain English. The binding terms for your job — including scope, products, and coverage — are the ones in your written estimate and agreement. If anything here differs from those documents, the documents control. See also our terms of service.
