Your cabinets get touched, scrubbed, splashed, and steamed every day, so they need a finish that holds up like a manufactured surface — not like a wall. That takes the right primer, paint, spray equipment, and environment. Brushed cabinets show every stroke, and spraying in a dusty garage leaves every speck in the finish. We invested in our own warehouse, paint booth, and sanding setup so your cabinet doors and drawer faces are sprayed in a controlled, dust-free booth — the way they should be.

Our cabinet painting process.

1. Initial Consultation & Estimate — We count doors and drawer faces, walk through colors and finishes, and send a detailed itemized estimate within 24 hours.
2. Remove and Number Doors — A week or two before painting the boxes, we remove the doors and drawer faces, plus all hinges, knobs, and pulls. Every door is numbered so it returns to exactly the same opening.
3. Site Prep & Plastic Barriers — Floors, walls, ceilings, and appliances covered with paper and plastic. A plastic barrier seals off the kitchen so dust and paint don't migrate into the rest of the house.
4. Degrease, Sand, De-Gloss — Kitchen-grade degreaser removes the cooking-oil film that lives on every cabinet surface. Then we sand all surfaces to break the factory sheen, and finish with a liquid de-glosser. Skip any of these steps and the new finish lifts within a year.
5. Prime, Patch, Sand Again — Tinted extreme-bond primer applied as the foundation. We then check for flaws, fill with glazing Bondo where needed, and sand smooth again before any finish coats.
6. Finish Coats (Booth + On-Site) — Doors and drawer faces sprayed in our Littleton paint booth with two coats of Novalk — climate-controlled, dust-free, professional-grade. Cabinet boxes finished on-site in the same Novalk product. Color matched across both.
7. Re-Hang & Touch-Up — Doors return wrapped to your home, are re-installed with hardware (yours or new), and we inspect every surface for final touch-ups.
8. Final Clean and Photos — Plastic comes down, surfaces wiped clean, kitchen put back together. We take a few project photos for our portfolio and leave you with labeled touch-up paint.

We catalyze the primer and topcoat — adding a hardener that drives a true chemical cure instead of a simple air-dry — so the finish cross-links for markedly stronger adhesion, chemical resistance, and durability. It resists water rings, grease splatter, hand-cleaner spray, and the everyday abuse that wears out regular cabinet paint within a couple of years. It isn't a paint-store product: it takes a booth, a hardener schedule and a crew that sprays it week in, week out, which is why most cabinet painters don't offer it. We spray it in any color — classic whites, deep navys, charcoals, sage greens, warm tans — with lower-odor options available for families with kids and pets.
